This is what I've been doing in the last week, honestly. I've been writing the explanatory fic of how my chaotic neutral sorcerer (whose only munchkin trait was spellfire; to absorb spells unto oneself and toss them back in the form of eldritch energy) achieved paladinhood. It was a painstaking process but quite liberating also, since the DM allowed me free access to the events involving the event. Hence, my fic, called Redemption was written. I'll post this below for you to read and do the -quite necessary- commentary below. Hope you get to enjoy this.

Well, just to dust this off, I announce that tonight I will go through a movie overload. Beginning with Gamer, I will then move to see Inglorious Basterds, and finally (an hour after midnight) I will get in the theater to see '9'.

Now, the critics speak highly of the above movies, but I wondered if anyone has seen any of those and can give me a heads up. ^_^

So I think I'm growing more and more demented as I write this. The reason for this is, I got to sleep yesterday (well, today, technically, but hey, who's counting?) after I wrote down an original piece of fiction involving the characters of the DnD group I'm currently in, yet I woke up having ideas of writing down a Transformers, a SW: KotOR, and a Firefly fic, respectively.

As far as mornings go, this one was seriously out of the window. :P 

I won't elaborate yet, since I'm not sure if I'll ever develop any of these ideas, but if anyone's interested, I'd be glad to discuss the ideas with them. With Naruto out of my way and my FF8 fics unapproachable (unless I ever get to revamping them), I could use the new fandom. Oh well. These are my news, like them or not. ^_^

Also, I dreamed of Megan Fox screaming underwater, Requiem for a Dream style. I need to start writing, *fast*.

Naruto is officially dead to me as a series. I won't bother any longer with it. All that remains for me to do is finish Agape (because I owe it to myself, at least), and then find a new, innovative fandom to engorge myself into.

Just got back from seeing it.

Script: Mediocre. If they used the same guy in order to right it, then the guy botched the scenario on a major level of fail. This part gets 1/5, for reasons I'd rather not disclose in fear of spoilers (whatever those may be).

Fights: Badass. 5/5.

Animation: Top notch. 5/5.

But, it's not all about what you see. If that was the case, 300 would've been *the* movie to see for the rest of your life. The movie (as far as the plot, script and jokes are concerned) is BAD. Sexual humor (Transformers saying "my balls!", Bumblebee crying, Simmons wears a thong, etc) is horrible and NOTHING like the awkward yet tender lovers-to-be-banter of the first movie.

In other words, go see it, but don't expect to leave the theater any smarter - just pumped with adrenaline.

So, I saw Terminator 4 yesterday. It wasn't half bad. It clearly didn't reach my expectations (I was looking forward to seeing Fallout with Terminators replacing Super Mutants), but not half bad.

Worst parts: 
-Once again, Kyle Reese was made to appear as a fucking joke. What the Hell people? I don't care if you envision him a kid or a new Arnold, give him some credit. Please. The guy made T1 awesome as the guy that took down a T800 single-handedly. Bah. Still, not as bad as...
-Terminators dressed as Al-Queida. I understand the need for propaganda, but seriously, ffs.
-Skynet has an immaculate room in it's Matrix-lookalike tower. Clearly it uses Terminator-Cleaners in every sense of the word. :P

Best parts: 
-John Connor takes down a T600 using an upside down minigun.
-Arnold fucking Swargenegger.

That'd be all. Can't really type more at the moment.

I'm alive, ladies and gents. I've been working on my film (roughly 5-mins long, but the acting and script make up for it) which I'm going to publish at the Short Film festival and later on, Youtube (for you, my out-of-Europe pals that give a crap, at least). Post-production at the moment, but I'm going there.

I also had a falling out with one of my teachers (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0563339/) due to his inability to SHUT UP and give me the right to talk. For a guy that actually knows his stuff and knows how to teach, he keeps forgetting how to do it properly. Oh well. Point being, between work, a spouse and university, I can't afford to give a crap, haha. ^_^

Anyhoo, on to the accuracy of the title of this thread; I quit smoking (because god-damn, I actually went up to pretty much two packs a day) and WoW. When you have 4 80 lvl characters -none of them a DK, mind you- and all of them have 25-man Naxx gear and up, you realize you need to focus on your stuff more. It's why I haven't finished my movie yet. ;D

The 'sorta' is up there because, where I stopped WoW, I started Warhammer - in a more casual way, of course. Aaaand, that's pretty much it from Greece, ladies and gents.

Holy hell on and after, but *finally* other members in my family (besides me :p) have had a streak of luck. And boy, did they need it.

I have two cousins, you see; one by blood and one by marriage. Both have been going through something I do not wish to anyone - their babies were stillborn. Helen was lucky -by comparison- to suffer through it only once. Joy (to paraphrase her given name) had to go through it twice.

But finally, after nine long months, Helen gave birth to a beautiful boy. I can pat myself in the back -no matter how awkward the gesture might be- and tell myself that I'll be the best uncle this little guy ever had. ^_^

All there is left for me to do family-wise now, is to pray that Joy can make through her third labor successfully.

And that's what's been going on the little country called Greece. :P

PS: Ghost, I do owe you a little fic. You'll be happy to know that its entire outline is done, and all that remains for me to do is actually write it down. I do wonder, however, if the fic that you're writing as my contest award is a gift for your birthday by itself, haha. :D

I post this mainly to dust this place off and remind you, my fans (modest, aren't I?), that I'm still working on my stories.

Agape, Chapter 3: For some random parts of a bigger story, they're proving to be a bitch to write. I'm still lacking 10 out of 25 even though I have gotten the keywords for the rabbles down. I'll get there, damn it! 

Hell and Back, Chapter 2: You guys had forgotten I had that little piece posted, right? Well, too bad. I've renewed my interest in that little piece of work. Currently, I'm working on Naruto's venturing into Hades, which will pretty much wrap up chapter 2 so that I can move on Neji's wanderings as an Assassin of Fate.

The Maelstrom Chronicles: Bits and pieces. The first chapter is one big scrambled mess, and I'm not sure if I dislike that... Perhaps I'll just send it over to whoever wants to read it and have them tell me what they think. I do wish I had someone outside of the 'net that would be able to discuss my fics with me...

Death's Challenge (working title): A novelization of the Death Knight Hero Class' start-up. Got the main character out of the Ebon Hold - at last. Now to see whether he can keep up with Prince Valanar's requests...

Untitled Thrall/Alexstrasza piece: I'll get it down, I promise!

Pseudo-epic W3 piece: It's basically a novelization of a DnD campaign me and some friends finished recently, but it was set before the Burning Crusade was out - hence, Kael'thas was not a pussy bad guy, Illidan was not in the Black Temple, we had no clue that Azgalor dies in the Mount Hyjal battle... Stuff like that. Oh, and it's (obviously) filled with OCs. /facepalm I'm afraid that even if I get it moving, it will hardly get any attention. Especially when I'll be competing with Thunder Lord, haha.

Naruto/Hellsing Crossover: Strangely, it works the way I've thought of it. Kraken can attest to that. :p It's still in the storyboard phase, though.

Pendulum: Dark, gritty stories about Naruto and co battling in the 4th World War. I've recently got a hang of the idea, and it keeps tormenting me ever since. I don't know how it'll work out (if at all), but I will try to keep you updated at some point in case you're interested.
